With an electrifying Australian cast led by Tony Award winner Roger Bart as ‘Doc Brown’ and newcomer Axel Duffy at the wheel as Marty McFly, BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical is set to deliver a theatrical experience packed with heart, humour and high-octane spectacle. Sydney’s Ashleigh Rubenach will play Marty’s mum Lorraine Baines, Ethan Jones will play George McFly, Javon King will play the roles of Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, and Thomas McGuane will play the pivotal role of Biff.
Roger Bart, who originated the iconic role of ‘Doc Brown’ on both the West End and Broadway, said, “I’m so excited for Sydney audiences to experience the show, whether through the nostalgia of revisiting the film in a whole new way, or through fresh eyes as they watch the spectacle unfold on stage. It’s always been a dream of mine to perform in Australia and having the privilege of bringing Back to the Future here – a story that has meant so much to so many people – is a true honour.”
