Leanne Cope is currently in rehearsals for the Australian Premiere of An American in Paris which begins in National Tour in Brisbane of January 2022. Leanne Cope is a British Tony and Grammy Award-nominated dancer and actor and originated the role of Lise Dassin in the Broadway and West End productions of An American in Paris. She began her career at the Royal Ballet, where she was First Artist, after graduating from the Royal Ballet School. We sit down with Leanne to discuss the production, how she landed the role of Lise Dassin on Broadway, as well as what theatre fans should expect from this unique production.
